URBANET is a social impact organization committed to the principles of social justice and human rights especially of the poor and the vulnerable segments of the society in Northern Ghana. URBANET is driven by the passion to explore the potentials and opportunities available in local communities to build community resilience based on available resources and indigenous knowledge systems.

Since its establishment in 2003, URBANET has been working to address the social and economic vulnerabilities of marginalised groups of people such as women smallholders, unemployed young people and people living with disabilities by building their agencies and capacities for income-generating activities.

Resilient communities where people live in dignity and a safe environment.

Transforming communities and civil society through partnership, strengthening agencies of poor farmers and excluded groups for a safer environment and sustainable society.
